Hostal del Sol is a very welcoming friendly hotel, within easy reach of San Pol beach and S'Agaro, and a short walk to the main town of St Feliu de Guixols. It is a very picturesque building with comfortable rooms and excellent services ie reception and breakfast. All the staff were very helpful. The guests are in the main Spanish, and therefore typically classless and there to enjoy theirselves. My husband and I had a very enjoyable stay and holiday.

Nice building with a pool. 10-minute walk to the city center and the beach. Very friendly and helpful people at the desk.

Seems like a GORGEOUS hotel, managed by a very friendly staff. The breakfast is more than satisfactory and excellent. I loved my room - great-sized and brand-new with four twin beds. This place is in a convenient and handy location to the town with great restaurants.

The hotel had a lovely and intimate feel, providing a tranquil and relaxing atmosphere. The bed in our room was extremely comfortable, guaranteeing a restful night's sleep. The breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options, and the breakfast hostess went above and beyond to make sure we had a great start to our day. The location of the hotel was ideal, just a short walk away from both the beach and the town. we had a very pleasant and enjoyable stay.

Location really close to beaches, the seafront and the main beach area...

The Staff were friendly and helpful. The Hotel was very nice to look at and the grounds were immaculately tended and had a very relaxing atmosphere. I thoroughly enjoyed may stay and will no doubt return.

It seemed to have the capacity/equipment to operate as a restuarant as well but does not and I think that's a shame

Great location, only a 10-minute walk from Platja de Sant Pol beach. Rooms come with four twin beds. 3. the breakfast spread is amazing, with a wide variety of food and drinks available.

Lovely pool and plenty deckchair space. Bar staff for pool bar extremely friendly and obliging. Central for exploring some fantastic beaches on the Costa Brava. Breakfast adequate and very pleasant outdoor tables at which to eat it. Hotel exterior pretty. Parking for guests.

Located handily off main roundabout on approach to Sant Feliu du G. Bit of a trek down busy street to beach area if you had children and a lot of baggage but as we had car it was very handy not to have to join the beach traffic when leaving/arriving from other nearby nicer beaches.

We liked the design and style of the hotel a pleasant change to more modern hotels. The location was good for the town and the beach.

The tea and coffee machine is a little impersonnal, waitress service would have been appropiate since it is a friendly hotel.

our second stay in sant feliu de guixols was even more impressive. hostal del sol truly exceeded our expectations. from the comfortable rooms to the excellent breakfast and friendly staff, everything was perfect. the pool area and gardens were a lovely addition and the nearby beaches were a bonus.

Tv channels were limited.
